Del Lighting designed and installed a unique starfield for a very innovative and unique family fun park designed specifically for children and adults with special needs. Since the starfield was going in the Sensory Village, special attention was paid to the number of stars, star brightness, even the “twinkle” of the stars. It was a very real pleasure working with the many fine people at Morgan’s Wonderland! |

About Morgan’s Wonderland: Unique and interactive, Morgan’s Wonderland Sensory Village is a cluster of themed spaces that wrap around an indoor street scape. The Paramount Theater offers interactive videos. The Saddle-Up Stable holds two Equicizer Horses. The Fix-It Shop lets guests create a tool sounding symphony, design a custom car and go for a simulated test drive through San Antonio and the surrounding Hill country The Village Market grocery store is full of fun colorful groceries, perfect for imaginative play and KMWL7 TV station allows guests to do the weather forecast and see themselves on TV! Each one of these themed environments not only inspires imaginative play but also offers interactive sensory stimulation through the use of colors, lights, sounds and textures. Sensory stimulation is important for everyone, but it’s especially significant for individuals with special needs. |
