Just returned from a very successful business trip, where I installed over 150 sq/ft of glass blocks in a day. Also involved on this project was Rachel Eckermann, the representative from Del Lighting. Rachel designed and fabricated custom lengths for the many glass block panels and cove molding applications throughout the facility. . Attached you can see some pictures of the purple lighting within the Swift Track System. Also involved in coordinating this project was Tom Galligan from Pittsburgh Corning, and Robert Lee of Old Castle Adams Products, who was instrumental in the fast delivery of the glass blocks needed for this project.
My special thanks goes to Alex and Frank of Planet Fitness, for their researching Swift Track and contracting us to make their Club a one of a kind, State of the Art facility within the family of Planet Fitness’s across the country. Although they have built many health spas across the country, and always incorporating glass blocks into their designs, this Myrtle Beach facility is the first to use and light the glass block panels. We at Swift Track inc. look forward to working closely on future facilities, and to help design and install our patented glass block system with internal illumination.
