Freight Guarantee

  • Interruption of Service:  Del Lighting Inc. uses United Parcel Service (UPS) for carriage Del Lighting , Inc. abides by the terms and conditions found on this page: http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/resources/ship/terms/index.html .
    In general, if UPS is unable to start or continue with carriage of the shipper’s (Del Lighting, Inc.) package for any reason beyond its control, UPS will not be in breach of its agreement with the shipper but will take all steps that are reasonably practicable in the circumstances to commerce or continue the carriage.  Example of events beyond UPS’s control are disruption to air or ground transportation due to bad weather, fire, flood, war, hostilities, civil disturbance, acts of governerment or other authorities (including, without limitation, customs) and labor disputes or obligations affecting UPS or some other party.
    Money Back Guarantee: For certain services and destinations, UPS offers a money back guarantee on the shopping charges.  Details of its applicability, terms a and conditions and of the corresponding delivery and latest pick up time for the relevant service and destination are as set out in the Guide and on the UPS webiste (see above), each as current at the time the goods are accepted for carriage and can also be confirmed by contacting the shipper’s local UPS call center. For avoidance of doubt, the liability of UPS and Del Lighting, Inc. is limited to the above and the guarantee does not otherwise constitute any form of undertaking or representation that the shipment will arrive by any particular time.

General Warranty Information

  • Merchandise purchased from Del Lighting, Inc. may be returned within 30 days of purchase. We require that it be unopened and in perfect condition, with proof of purchase (original receipt and/or packing slip) included.
    Returns authorized after 30 days by Del Lighting, Inc. will be subject to a restocking fee and customer will pay all transportation costs associated with the return, including taxes, customs and duties, if applicable.

    Returns must have an R.G.A. (Returned Goods Authorization) number.
    • Freight must be prepaid.
    • 10% restocking charge on new, unopened cartons.
    • 15% restocking charge on unused electronics
    • 50% restocking charge on used electronics in like new condition
    • No refunds for custom length fiber optic cable or LED products
    • No refunds after 30 days unless return is warranted item
  • Product will not be approved for return or credit under the following conditions:
    • Product has been altered.
    • If power plug has been cut off and hard wired to an electrical source.
    • Product was not installed or maintained in accordance with the product specifications.
    • Product was subject to unusual physical or electrical stress, misuse, or negligence.
    • Product defect was not related to Del Lighting, Inc. product functionality, including third-party modifications.
    • Product damage caused after receipt of product by customer.
    • Product that has been custom cut such as fiber optic cable or rope lighting.
    • Product that was custom ordered for a project.
  • By choosing to request a RMA from Del Lighting, Inc., it is implied that customer agrees to the terms of the Return Policy as stated above.

    To return merchandise, please indicate the reason for return on the original receipt or packing slip and securely pack the merchandise in the box. For your protection, we suggest you ship to us via an insured or trackable method, as unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for your return if it is lost in transit. If you no longer have your packing slip, please indicate the order number, your address, and your phone number on a separate piece of paper and include it in the package.

    Please note: Customers are responsible for all postage costs on returned merchandise. Del Lighting, Inc. will not reimburse for shipping and handling charges.
     
    DEFECTIVE PRODUCT

    Del Lighting, Inc. will replace defective product with like product. Del Lighting, Inc. will not provide credit on Defective product - unless no suitable repair or replacement is available. Del Lighting, Inc. will cover shipping charges incurred by customer up to the amount of a standard UPS Ground charge for the return of Defective product and the shipment of replacement product. For purposes of clarity, Del Lighting, Inc. will not reimburse or pay for labor or other costs associated with removal of the product, even if it is ultimately deemed to be defective.

    Returned products will be tested upon arrival at the Del Lighting, Inc.. Any product that is determined to be non-defective will be returned to customer, at customer's expense, and a testing fee of a minimum of 10% of the product value will be assessed.

    WARRANTY

    Del Lighting, Inc. warrants to the Purchaser that each Product manufactured and sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship in its intended use (normal wear and tear excepted) for the period of one year from date of Purchaser's purchase (the invoice date) . Del Lighting, Inc.'s warranty applies only to the original Purchaser. If any Product covered by this warranty is returned by Purchaser in accordance with Del Lighting, Inc.'s Products Return Policy, including without limitation its return authorization provisions, within the applicable warranty period set forth above, and upon examination Del Lighting, Inc. determines to its satisfaction that such Product was defective in material or workmanship at the time of delivery to the Purchaser, Del Lighting, Inc. will, at its option, repair or replace the Product or the defective part thereof, or reimburse Purchaser for the purchase price if no suitable repair or replacement is available. For purposes of clarity, "repair or replace the Product or the defective part thereof" does not include any reinstallation costs or expenses, including without limitation labor costs or expenses. If Del Lighting, Inc. chooses to replace the Product and is not able to do so because it has been discontinued or is not available, Del Lighting, Inc. may replace it with a comparable product. The foregoing notwithstanding, Del Lighting, Inc. will not be responsible for damage to any Product resulting from misuse, negligence, acts of God or accident or resulting from repairs or alterations made by any person or firm not duly authorized by Del Lighting, Inc. in writing. Purchaser shall convey with each Product distributed to end users this DEL LIGHTING, INC.'S LIMITED WARRANTY, and if Del Lighting, Inc. determines that the appropriate remedy for a defective product is refund of Purchaser's purchase price, Purchaser shall refund to the end user (or arrange for the refund to the end user of) the full purchase price paid by the end user for such defective Product.

Limited Lifetime Illuminator Warranty

  • Del Lighting warrants its products excluding light bulbs, to be free from defects for one year from the date of original purchase.
  • If a defect occurs within the first year, the product will be repaired or replaced at our option for the S150, ST150, SL and X20 series.
  • This warranty covers normal consumer use and does not cover failure resulting from misuse, alteration, improper installation or maintenance.
  • To file a warranty claim, an R.G.A. must first be obtained. The product must be shipped prepaid to our warranty/service location.
  • After the first year a check for $75.00 on illuminator models #X20-75, SL-75 and SL100 or $175.00 on illuminator models S150 and ST150 must accompany the unit for any service under warranty.
  • Unit will be shipped freight collect

i Product returned for service must be returned in ORIGINAL PACKAGING otherwise charges will apply and the warranty will be void!  Damage caused by customer misuse is not covered under warranty.
d UNITS RETURNED FOR SERVICE WITHOUT A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER WILL BE REFUSED. USER MUST CONTACT US TO OBTAIN AN R.A. NUMBER PRIOR TO SHIPPING.
