The Air Force's Tops in Blue show (they entertain the troops around the world) asked us to design a really special curtain for them. A curtain of this complexity had NEVER been done before. No other designer/manufacturer even bid on it - they said it couldn't be done. It took us 9 months and hundreds of hours but we did it The total amount of cable used in these curtains is 80 miles...yes, 80 MILES! We used Encore! IFR fabric because of its wrinkle resistance and lifetime flame resistance. Thirty S1508 DMX M/S/D and eight DEL150 8 DMX M/S/T illuminators were used so all three logos or each on different cues can appear out of the twinkling background. The curtains will tour the world with Tops in Blue! over the next year.
